Hi Salseras y Salseros!
My name is DJ Jorge but I am also known as DJorge and Koke. Since I have been active in the salsa scene for decades, the new dancers may not know me yet.
I had my first contact with the salsa genre in the mid 80s. In 1986 I started collecting salsa music and took my first steps in the scene as a DJ. So I can claim to be the longest serving Salsa DJ in Austria.
In the beginning I was mainly involved with salsa dura from New York. Over time, I also began to collect Cuban music.
I worked with cassettes, vinyls, cds and now digital.
My many years of experience led me through almost all Latin clubs in Vienna and the federal states. I also had the honor to play in different European countries like Germany, Italy, Hungary, Slovenia, Slovakia, Greece and Albania.
Through my music knowledge and experience I play for crossbody dancers and also for Cuban dancers.
