I teach Timba focused on the social aspect, musicality and freestyle.
Casino is often used as a base for dancing Timba. However, Timba is not Casino.
In my perspective, that is the reason why the communication (i.e. leading and following)
in Timba has to be free and spontaneous and not based on a choreographed figure.
Timba is danced in a social setting and not in Rueda setting, in which people have to know the exact
sequence of movement in order to be in sync with the others.
