---SBKZ Intensive and Social---

Salsa, Bachata, Kizomba, and Zouk share a common DNA as social partner dances, many of the techniques and concepts from one also apply to the others; by looking at one we can greatly improve in the other.

Partner Dancing is the language of touch, everything is communicated and improvised in the moment between partners without a word as the music plays. This workshop is designed to be a crash course into partner dancing, introducing you to concepts and exercises that will drastically improve your partner dancing and to continue to work on after the workshop for mastery.

-OUTCOMES-

You will improve your dancing ability, especially in Salsa, Bachata, Kizomba, and/or Zouk and specifically in the areas of improvisation, connection, communication(Lead & Follow), and creative expression.

Improvisation - Let your creativity out by learning how to generate in the moment rather than being stuck in a sequence

Connection - Be present with the person you are dancing with, creating a moment to remember

Communication (Lead & Follow) - Make your dance a dialogue between two people

Creative Expression - Express yourself with someone else, creating a truly unique and wonderful experience together

-INSTRUCTORS-

Christopher Hauff, originally from Miami, started dancing so he could dance with his date to prom. He decided to become a FreeStyle or Fusion dancer in 2019 right before moving to Vienna; since then he has studied zouk, urban-kizz, tango, contact improv and more! Becoming an international artist in the process.

Anika Elena 🇦🇹🇸🇰 has performed on stage since an early age and was gifted with a broad dancing background in Ballet, Jazz, Hip Hop, Tap and Belly dancing. The professional singer and dancer found her passion in Kizomba end of 2017 and joined the Kizz Ryders in 2018. She is now a well known international artist specialized in Urban Kiz and Tarraxo while also having backgrounds in tango and zouk!
